Remarks: Due to the need for revision surgery to replace the temporary implant after removal of the patient's tumor prosthesis, conventional prostheses are not suitable for this condition. So We designed based on this model.

Custom proximal tibial prosthesis:
The total length of the prosthesis is about 150mm (the proximal end is measured from the middle position) and consists of three parts: 3D printing of the proximal prosthesis. The middle section is a modular extension section (60mm). A modular medullary cavity extension handle can be used at the distal end.

Intraoperative pictures

  • Indicate if additional administrative preparation is needed to receive/process custom implants at your hospital.
  • Note that it is highly recommended to perform the surgery within 6 months of the CT scan date; The implant will be produced in titanium (alloy Ti6Al4V). Please indicate if this possesses any problems.
  • All components are delivered non-sterile and need to be sterilized at hospital facility. For this purpose, the implant will be delivered at least one day ahead of surgery.
  • This implant is customized only for the specific patient.
  • When the customized implant designed and produced for a particular patient is more than a piece, the manufacturer is responsible for taking back all the remaining models except the implant which is eventually implanted into the patient's body and storing or destroying them as a retention sample for clinical use.
